Third Symposium of Mosaic: Mosaic construction continues!

The Third Symposium of Mosaic continues the first project started three years ago with the idea of ​​the President of the Cultural Association "Il Castello" dr. Giorgio Ardito and realized by students of the Mosaic School of Spilimbergo in Friuli Venezia Giulia. To continue the work this year there are from Sunday, May 12: Romulad Mesdagh of Charleroi in Belgium, Stefania Pocecco of Trieste and Cristina Cazacu of Moldova, from Sunday, May 19 there will be Cristina Regazzo of Udine, Modugno Priscilla of Rome and Andrea Zamaro always of Friuli. The six graduates of the Mosaic School of Spilimbergo are finishing the year of specialization, which is accessed through a scholarship only the best graduates. During the symposium the students are assisted by alternating artistic advisors always displayed by teachers of the Mosaic School: Cristina De Leoni, Luca De Amicis and Stefano Jus.

The realization of the mosaics a particular interest in the underside of the end of the elevated walkway, which at a beachoffice n. 2 - German flag comes down to Piazza Marcello D'Olivo. The subject of the work that is being achieved is the result of a competition internal to the school.
The symposium will close Sunday, May 26 with a nice ceremony with authority and tourists: the mosaics will be discovered and the work will be illustrated by the artists who created it, the President of the Mosaic School of Spilimbergo Alido Gerussi and the Director Gian Piero Brovedani. An aperitif will be offered on an elevated walkway.
